Yguá - Ypa'u
Our adventure begins in Manaus, the capital of the Amazon, where we set off on a journey that combines the essence of the rainforest with some of the most stunning photographic opportunities in the region.
From Manaus, we will travel by boat and van to reach a jungle lodge on Lake Mamori, in the Careiro region. There, participants will:

Hike through the Amazon rainforest, discovering its flora and fauna.

Engage in birdwatching and wildlife observation, guided by local expertise.

Visit a traditional riverside community to learn about life along the waterways.

Explore the lake and flooded forests on small motorized canoes (voadeiras), navigating the intricate network of lakes and igapós.

After returning to Manaus, the expedition continues with a boat trip into the Anavilhanas Archipelago, one of the largest river archipelagos in the world and a true natural wonder. Along the way, we will:

Mawé
Join us on a remarkable journey deep into the Amazon as we travel by boat from Manaus to the riverside city of Maués—a voyage that takes approximately 18 hours through winding waterways, lush rainforest, and breathtaking scenery.
Once in Maués, our expedition will immerse participants in the culture, nature, and traditions of this unique region. We will:

Meet and learn from the Sateré-Mawé Indigenous people, guardians of ancient traditions.

Explore the rivers and forests by boat in search of birds and Amazonian wildlife.

Discover the origins of the legendary guaraná fruit, native to the region and central to Sateré-Mawé culture.

Manaós - Ytu
Our journey begins in Manaus, the capital of the Amazon—a city where history, culture, and nature converge. From here, we will set out to explore some of the most iconic experiences the region has to offer, all through the lens of photography.

Traveling by van, we will head to Presidente Figueiredo, a town surrounded by lush rainforest. There, we will hike scenic trails leading to stunning waterfalls, perfect for capturing the raw beauty of the jungle.

Returning to Manaus, we will board speedboats to visit indigenous communities, witness the spectacular Meeting of the Waters where the Negro and Amazon rivers run side by side, and experience close encounters with the famous pink river dolphins (botos).

To complete the expedition, we will explore the historic center of Manaus, where travelers can photograph the city’s 19th-century architecture and enjoy the flavors of authentic Amazonian cuisine.
